End of the Year Math Exhibition
I am exhibiting my landscape project. This project was the project I am most proud of, I worked hard making the project look how I wanted it to. The project shows what I learned very well because this project is very simple to show what I have done and it was definitely the most artistic project we did this year in my opinion which definitely makes it my favorite project that we have done. This project was based on graphing the project used strait lines and not any polynomials. We used inequality a horizontal and vertical lines and we also had to write the slope intercept, standard, point slope, and intercept form. If I were to redo this project I think I would have spent a little bit more time making sure that I knew what all of the forms were. I should have clarified with my teacher Effi to make sure that I was writing the forms and that I also knew how to read each of them. I was looking online at the different forms and thinking I could write them from there. I think if I would have done this I would have had a better idea of what I was doing not to mention I would definitely have gotten a better grade. If I were to redo this project I would try and talk to more people. I would do this by not talking to my parents as much and tried to talk to other parents about my project. Looking back at this math class I see that I have done well with taking my notes and this could very well help me in my future math classes so I can comprehend other classes more.
Semester Exam Project
In this project we worked on creating math problems for our semester exam. This project was very interesting because I have never had the responsibility of making math problems. This proved to be a challenge for me, with me worrying so much about doing something wrong or making a "bad" problem. towards the end of the project I slowly realized that I just needed to work hard enough to crate a good problem. My plans to study for this project are to use the big math book to my advantage and use some of the problems in there as practice problems. I also would like to look up games or mini lessons online to help me understand the harder concepts. I plan to make a list of all of the concepts so I can also keep track of what I want to do.
Through out this semester I feel like I have done very well compared to other years. I have been working hard this year to accomplish the tasks that have been presented to me in full and I can tell it is paying off. My only hope is that I will continue to work hard and obtain good grades in not only just algebra but all of my other classes too.
